CLINICAL CARDIAC ELECTROPHYSIOLOGY

Interventional cardiac electrophysiologist with 20+ years of cardiovascular experience and 8+ years of independent, full-scope practice, including 6+ years with the Department of Veterans Affairs.

  • Harvard Medical School, Massachusetts General Hospital • Tulane University Medical Center, Interventional EP Fellowship • Baylor College of Medicine / Texas Heart Institute, Advanced EP Training

Professional Milestones:

  • Built atrial fibrillation and complex-ablation programs at two major medical centers • First in the U.S. to implant combined Barostim + EV-ICD in a VA system • First in Tennessee to use Barostim for heart failure (7th in U.S., 2nd in VA system) • Second VA hospital in the country to implant EV-ICD technology • Delivered three national or statewide device-therapy firsts

SPIRITUAL PRACTICE & TEACHING

Meditation practitioner since age six. Initiated into Kriya Yoga by Swami Hariharananda Giri, a brother disciple of Paramahansa Yogananda, and has practiced under multiple Himalayan masters.
